The world’s only conference dedicated to DevOps on Windows. For a conference devoted to emerging tech and modern ways of working it had a brand reminiscent of Windows ’95. However, the brand needed an update to reflect its modern outlook.
Keeping the 4 coloured jigsaw pieces as the inspiration I set about updating the brand to feel like something you would see in a modern tech company.
The brand has a lot of elements that can be used is many different ways. Each year we experiment with the brand elements, keeping each conference feeling fresh but maintaining consistency.
Every year the conference gathers feedback from attendees which includes an area to feedback on the web experience. I used this feedback to improve usability, particularly for the ticket purchase experience and the agenda.
