The best of three worlds

With two companies merging into Sourced and big plans for the future the Sourced brand really needed an update. I looked at the brands of all three companies and took elements from all brands to form the new one. An ask from the Sourced leadership was to keep the illustration and storytelling from the DevOpsGroup brand. With this in mind I expanded the Sourced colour pallet, bringing in colour influences from Kenzan, included the illustrations from DevOpsGroup and kept the use of gradients from Sourced.

Comprehensive direction

With so many elements to the brand and a large colour palette, I really had to think through how everything worked together. I created an in-depth brand guidelines giving clear direction for all elements that still allowed for creativity and to have fun with the brand. I worked with the head of marketing and our freelance copywriter to set out clear tone of voice and copy guidelines, particularly to create guidelines that work for a global company.

Bringing the brand to the web

The Sourced website is still very much a work in progress. The initial work I carried out was to re-skin the existing website with the new brand. Since that has been completed on-going improvements are being carried out, with a new SEO and content strategy being created.
